Strategic Advice & Mentoring
We can provide Strategic Advice & Mentoring services to early-stage technology-based ventures. These typically involve:
- providing strategic guidance to the founders;
- acting as an independent sounding-board for proposals;
- helping to bring useful people and relationships to the company;
- and assisting capital-raising and partnering activities.
We normally provide these services in our capacity as a COMET Business Adviser to clients who have been accepted into AusIndustry’s COMET program.
For businesses not in COMET or who have graduated from COMET, we can provide these services on a fee-for-service advisory basis.
In some cases a business may need more than what we can provide through our Strategic Advice & Mentoring services. For example it may be desirable to strengthen the board prior to trying to raise capital from investors.
In such cases one of our experienced professionals may be willing to offer their services as a Non-Executive Director on typical market terms. Alternatively we may be able to reach into our network to refer a suitably experienced person.
